| Most importantly
our highly trained, professional
and friendly staff. Without them we would not
be able to provide the high quality service and expert
legal advice we pride ourselves in. |
| Secondly, our modern approach using latest
technologies to ensure a fast and efficient service has
gained us an excellent reputation along the North East
coast. |
| Thirdly, you could say it is our culture.
Using common sense advice we
aim to give our commercial and private clients a legal
service for life. We will support and advise whenever
our services are required. |
| Lastly, our continued support for the local
community and its economic prosperity, which includes
the following: |
St Catherines
Hospice
Stephen Joseph Theatre
Meningitis Trust
Yorkshire Cancer Research
Local Events
Local Agricultural Shows

| In June 1990 - Grunwell Farrant
& Glenday merged with Martin Fletcher & Co. The
purpose of the amalgamation was to provide a more comprehensive
range of services to its clients from one Central Office.
The Practice name was Grunwells, later to be called Scarborough
Law Chambers. |
| In June 2002 - we opened an office
in Whitby with the help of Noel Barrett who
was a partner at North Yorkshire Law. |
| In July 2002 - Grunwells merged
with Pinkney
and Marshalls of Bridlington. Hence the name
Pinkney Grunwells. They were a well established and successful
firm that have been running for 60 years. |
| In April 2004 - we merged with
Martin Summers from Atha, Summers and Co. He is now based
at our Scarborough
Office and we have to extended the services previously
offered at his Hunmanby office. |
| In July 2007 - we became a
Limited Liability Partnership with 8 members. |
| This has enabled us to offer a wide range
of services and expertise over a larger geographical area. |
