Conveyancing - Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licenced Conveyancer


JOB DESCRIPTION: A Fee Earner providing a legal service to clients. Preparing general correspondence, documents, claims for disbursements and billing. To ensure the best quality of service is available and maintained to clients. To comply with the procedures in the office manual.


MAIN DUTIES: Ensure the firms objectives and Targets are achieved. Preparation and typing/word processing, dealing with all correspondence and documents. Client interviews. Receiving client telephone calls, organising filing, photocopying and faxing. Checking that the client files are up to date and in the correct location. Preparation of bills. Checking and chasing up outstanding accounts. To ensure compliance with procedures and office systems. Dealing will all aspects of files as requested. Drafting of relevant documents to relevant parties.

Legal Secretary - Private Client in our Whitby Office


We have a vacancy for a Legal Secretary to join our busy Private Client Team in our Whitby office.


This role is ideally a full time position but part time would be considered (3 or 4 days). Experience preferred although training will be given to bring candidates up to speed.
