November 1, 2019

Our charity of the year is £1500 pounds better off this year

Back in July 2018 our staff were asked to choose a charity to support for the next 12 months, and The Hinge was chosen.

The Hinge centre is a small, local charity based in the heart of the Havenfield estate in Bridlington. Their aim is to provide support, guidance, services and opportunities to those facing social and financial deprivation. The Hinge Centre is committed to ensuring support is available to some of the most vulnerable members of society.

Our staff have had numerous cake sales, office bake off competitions, staff have crocheted bags to sell and we held our 80th Birthday Ball to raise the total amount of £1,500.00 for this fantastic local charity.

The Hinge are using this money to purchase a projector with accessories to be used for in house training, external presentations and use within their children and independent living groups. The rest of the money will be used for equipment and ingredients for their many groups held.

Thank you to all our staff for their generous donations and all the effort put in to organising the fundraising events.
